Another Kpop group, that captures the wonderful Japanese nostalgia that Jpop presents in rarely present in Kpop. Kpop has lots of western influence. They have all sorts of genres. However, I missed a super influential Kpop group that captures the best of both worlds every single time. They do well in Japanese and in Korean. In case you haven’t heard, KARA, an amazing girl group with amazing feats does capture both. In my opinion. They have captured the impossible nostagic, but CATCHY sense in kpop. It’s rarely found, but when found, in girl groups are common. I will update this with more details and videos, so, see you tomorrow. AND HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!

So the intro, is quite interesting. I definitely love the font sed in the beginning, while Krystal is burning a book, with no gloves. SAFETY. pLEAS . SAFETY IS THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY OF SUCH A B00TIFUL GIRL. *i feel bad for jessica on an unrelated note. just sayin’ I also, like the cats. I mean, the cat here has a blue and yellow eye. Now, I paused this, and I’m having a hard time telling, what the hell is it’s purpose. I mean, it’s 너무 귀여워. Or, ほんとかわいい。Learning these languages are hard for an AMERICAN LIKE MOI. The red really brings in the alertness, and the makeup wa a keypoint to their concept. Most definitely. In case you didn’t know, there was a circle lens in the eye with no eyeshadow, or eyeliner or other eye cosmetics. Wheras, the eye with all the magic makeup-ness, doesn’t contain the circle lens. The head movements: unnecessary. The start of the actual instrumental. WHAT DAFUQ DID I HEAR. WAS THAT LIKE DYING TURTLES OR LIKE A SICK THING. OR WAT? I DO NOT COMPREHEND. Jpop in my opinion in comparison to Kpop
I generally love Kpop, I got into anime first. I also got into Jpop. Call me a loser for watching about 200 episodes 1 summer when I was 9. It was Mermaid Melody. An oldie, but a classic. It may be cheesy and the art may be exaggerated, it was what satisfied me. I also watched MMPure. It had lots of music. And this is where I begin the comparison. Wheras, JPop has a lot more complicated and quick tempos and less pauses or smth, it’s more nostalgic for me. So I love Jpop in that sense. I don’t listen to it as often as Kpop, but just about every Jpop sog has iven me a very nostalgic feel that I enjoy very much and has captured me that well. This nostalgic sense is not able for me to be felt in most Kpop songs, but maybe in a few ballads or like Ukiss playground. However, kpop, in my opinion is way more catchy and a lot more easy to follow. Most kpop songs are much more slower and they follow a very similar style to western style. like, living in america, most songs contain either a very powerful pop song sort of thing, or a very fast beat tempo with less vocal exaggeration. But there are songs, like ballads. But rarely, most songs follow the pattern of a song with a lot of vocals and an occasional rap. wheras, the rap songs in kpop, is vice versa but a little bit more in the ratio.
As for Hi and Suhyun’s I’m Different, it’s more focused on vocals and there are many fast tempos. A very western style is seen here.
As for Mad Clown’s Fire, it’s the opposite. With Jinsil instead of Hani, she does an intro, as someone may do with a rap intro, but as a vocal intro. And majority of the song. well it’s actually divided into half. But, there are definitely more rapping in comparison to Bobby.
There is one song. that seems to have captured the aspect of Jpop and Kpop very well. I think it’s Lovely’z Candy Jelly Love.
It was able to capture the notstalgic intro. The dance moves as well, they seem similar to a few Japanese girl groups. Their voices aren’t as nasal as most debuting girl groups for the high pitch girly concept. I mean there are other variations. They have been able to show the nostalgic side after the chorus from ‘candy jelly love’, the part after I mean. It’s a very simple concept but able to get that nostalgic feel. the english parts though. but, they were able to conbine both very well in this case. Their other song [romanized: eojecheoreom gutnait] Good Night Like Yesterdayshows lots of strong vocals and still lots of nostalgia. Along with sunggyu. This company, wooliment, they know how to show nostalgia throught their song with a similar Jpop style. I hope I’m not the only one who hears this similarity. I have higher expectations for this group and other groups likes Tasty and Infinite, and they definitely prove it. JUST STOP THE SCHOOLGIRL THING OR SCHOOLBOY THING. IT’S NOT GETTING US ANYWHERE. well for some people at least.

I haven’t been here, huh? But now I have summer. Saw f(x)’s red light. It reminds me of an anime song. But, it’s pretty cool. But, since I won’t choose random anymore, you should comment below. And, I still don’t have as much time because it’s summer, but just enough. I have summer classes. Not summer school. It’s like extra stuff I don’t need, but want. It’s really fun, but yeah!

I realized of something. There isn’t really a Hangul teaching website. So in the near meantime, I decided to do it. So, for those who want to learn, look forward! I taught myself how to read Hangul, I just can’t get ahold of the w sounds. Other than that, I think I will do well. Now keep in mind, because I am not 100% Korean or even any sliver of blood in me is in Korean, it will not be 100% accurate. However, it should be at least 75-85% accurate. The methods I will be using is Chineasy and Dr.Moku. These two sites are similar in many ways. For one, they both have pictures for you to memorize. I shall post on my site that the idea is exactly the astheirs and I am just integrating it with Hangul. I will credit the both of the sites on the Menu bar. If you want the two sites, click the names of the sites and it should redirect you automatically to their sites and you should notice their similarity. You should also be able to open in a new window, at least from Google Chrome. I have chrome. SO yeah. I hope you guys will enjoy and look forward to this project. This is something I really don’t want to fail, so stay tuned. Because it’s a lot of work, it should be up by next year or something. Until then, it’ll be put up on private, if that exists.
